EXPLICIT - ADULTS ONLY - SOME PROFANITY AND ADULT SEXUAL CONTENT. This episode reviews risque records and profane platters that were widely heard on the radio during the past 60 years or so. Most of them are still played now on oldies and classic rock stations. But many have been edited for airplay and others just banned. Some dirty ditties just slipped by, and no one knows why. These range from songs with curse words and swear words to songs with conjugal content...and believe it or not, one record that was partially banned because it mentioned a popular candy bar.
Featured artists include the Kingston Trio, Van Morrison, the Raspberries, Meatloaf, Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, the MC5, Pearl Jam, the Who, the Rolling Stones, the Steve Miller Band, Pink Floyd, Bill Haley & His Comets, Lou Reed, Billie Holiday, Donna Summer, Sting and the Police, Rod Stewart, Janet Jackson, Elton John, and Duran Duran.
